Oryx Standard .270 Winchester 9.7g/150g. A bullet with high expansion and mass retention. The Oryx is a cast bullet with a permanently welded jacket and lead core. This provides a strong bond and prevents the bullet from tearing or cracking on impact, even when hitting hard bone.
To ensure optimal expansion at any impact velocity, the Oryx has a thin front jacket and internal protective plates. The welded joint and thicker rear jacket wall provide very high mass expansion (often more than 90%) and good penetration. The Oryx expands quickly without cracking to a large diameter, creating a wide penetration channel and reducing tissue damage.
The high mass expansion also provides good penetration and high energy release. Since its introduction in 1996, the Oryx has been the flagship model in the Norma series. It is recognized worldwide for its excellent performance.
